Mid-size Distributor: This company began to question the value it was receiving from its in-house Controller.  Financial statement results were not timely and general ledger information was not being kept on the company’s internal computer system. They were relying on an outside accounting group to maintain and generate their monthly results. The company had been considering investing in new computer software to resolve these issues. 

Solution

The BIK Controller | CFO group evaluated their present situation and determined their present software solution could handle their needs. We put a plan together to begin to utilize all features of the software as well as train staff to perform the necessary on-going functions. We also further developed the month end procedural close process and performed appropriate account analysis.
